Mic is looking for a production intern to join its growing video team. This intern would assist the producer and director of the Talent division of the video team as they produce new series, video op-eds and comedic sketches. The intern will report to Mic’s Lead Producer, Talent.

This is a paid full-time summer internship based in New York City. We expect interns to work 40 hours a week for the duration of the program (June 5, 2017 - August 11, 2017). Interns are responsible for arranging their own housing and transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist directors in setting up and breaking down sets
• Work with producer to coordinate shoots
• Facilitate communication and best practices in all interactions with the talent team

Qualifications:

• Process-oriented, extremely organized
• Highly communicative
• Production experience a plus
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
