Intersection is seeking a Project Manager to supervise deployment of our LinkNYC wifi kiosk around all boroughs of New York City. From beginning to end, the project manager will ensure construction is completed within time and budgetary constraints. An understanding of the construction business and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment are important for career success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level interactions across various functional groups and understand the deployment process 
• Assist in various stages through the project life cycle, from planning to preconstruction, construction and post-construction 
• Monitor the budget, oversee and document all aspects of the project 
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems 
• Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions 
• Review of contracts, negotiation and maintenance 
• Manage Civil and Electrical contractors as well as other service providers at the PM level 
• Coordinate field activities, assist with issue resolution or escalation 
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions. 
• Maintain project database by entering and monitoring data 
• Manage workflow and assignments 
• Assure that work is performed in accordance with project requirements and SLA’s, review associated invoices 
• Review, analyze and evaluate processes continuously looking for ways to optimize 
• Assist team with special projects as needed

Experience/Qualifications:

• 5 years project manager, project engineer or related field 
• Construction, telecom or site work experience a plus 
• Proficient in Excel 
• SiteTraker or database experience a plus 
• CAD experience a plus 
• Multi-tasking ability (prioritize, organize, and schedule work) 
• Problem solving (identify, analyze, research, evaluate and resolve) 
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and partner management) 
• Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and tools

Education: Bachelor Degree in engineering, architecture, project management or related field
