Common is seeking an Analyst to assist our Directors of Real Estate Acquisitions in building and managing our East Coast real estate pipeline. The Analyst will work directly with our Directors of Real Estate Acquisition, based in New York City, while supporting the entire East Coast. This position offers the opportunity for growth and may involve occasional travel.
About Common

Common is a venture-backed startup that brings home to life by creating, designing and operating all-inclusive shared homes for those who live life in common. We combine community, convenience, and flexibility to make living with others a joy instead of a chore. Headquartered in New York, Common was founded by General Assembly co-founder Brad Hargreaves in early 2015.

Common partners with real estate owners and developers throughout the US to create community-minded homes. By doing this, we’re addressing the fundamental supply and demand issues that underlie housing in major cities today. Common opened its doors to its first building in Brooklyn in October 2015 and now operates nine homes across New York City, San Francisco, and Washington DC.

About the role

Common's unique business model seeks to provide members access to convenient, community-based living in numerous cities. We partner with local real estate developers and investors by seeking out residential buildings in up-and-coming neighborhoods while providing a compelling value proposition: a steady stream of income and the upside of property appreciation without the hassles of property management, leasing, and tenant relations. Common enters into a master lease or management agreement with partners who purchase and/or build properties to spec. As we continue to grow our presence across the country, we seek an Analyst to join our team in New York City.
