Your Impact

We're seeking an experienced Paid Search Manager to join our dynamic marketing team and lead digital traffic acquisition for our e-commerce efforts across Magazines. This position will be tasked with constructing and executing paid media campaigns encompassing Paid Search and Product Listing Ads, driving account strategies, and managing day-to-day tactics. Utilizing consumer insights, financial inputs, and market trends, this role is pivotal in driving efficient revenue growth. Collaborating closely with corporate merchandising and growth marketing teams, this role is a key player in shaping acquisition strategies for all brands e-commerce efforts and experimenting with new potential paid traffic channels.

The ideal candidate is customer-centric, capable of owning this channel and embracing data-driven decision-making. Given the diverse spectrum of brands and customer types in our portfolio, this role demands enthusiasm for varying engagement levels, shopping behaviors and customer segments. Strong e-commerce acquisition experience and a history of effective collaboration with other teams are essential. This position resides on the Consumer Growth Team, fostering an innovative, collaborative, and data-centric environment focused on driving customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Spearhead paid acquisition efforts across search and shopping ads, managing day-to-day execution, tool and budget management, data analysis and insights communication.
  • Execute campaigns through buying platforms including feed setup, ad creative and copy development.
  • Manage budgets across multiple account lines. ensuring financial alignment with targets.
  • Optimize paid channel to hit brand specific KPIs, including traffic, conversion, ROAS and CAC.
  • Develop detailed reports to track and analyze campaign performance along with channel pacing.
  • Support marketplace launches with paid campaigns, establishing playbook for subsequent launches.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and lead experimentation with new paid acquisition drivers.
  • Oversee reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on key performance metrics and communicating results to leadership as well as cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with external partners, primarily Google and BING, bid management software and product feed solutions.
  • Coordinate with category management and merchandising teams on seller acquisition and latest product catalog and coordinate product pushes to align with their sales goals.
  • Take ownership of internal display House-Ads across the magazines division, setting priorities and manage trafficking.

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years' experience in marketing and paid advertising.
  • In-depth understating of Paid Search best practices and strategy (SEM, PLA and Display Advertising).
  • Proven expertise in working with extensive and dynamic product feeds.
  • Deep understanding of customer acquisition, with demonstrated success scaling media spend.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience using Google Ad Manager, and Looker.
  • Proven success in driving ROAS experience and familiarity with Ad tech and measurement approaches.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills can effectively convey strategy and results to stakeholders.
  • A multi-tasker and team player comfortable working simultaneously across many brands.
  • Capable of collaborating with cross-functional groups and adaptable to new technology and trends.
  • Results-oriented, track record of delivering measurable results and achieving KPIs.
  • Resourceful, creative thinker with high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and Google Analytics.

The base salary for this role in NY is between $85,000 to $102,000 annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
