About The Position

Raise Product Managers are a critical component of the cross-functional squads that make up the Raise Technology organization, reporting directly to the Head of Product. As a Senior Product Manager at Raise, you are responsible for enabling the day-to-day activities of a given Technology Squad, while coordinating your product roadmap against the larger strategic vision, maximizing member experience and creating real business value. While working with your squad of designers, engineers and data scientists, and representing their efforts to business partners, you will be responsible for delivering the new features and releases that define the next generation of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Define, organize and synchronize project efforts with fellow product managers across squads to deliver meaningful results toward the company’s overall strategic vision
  • Work directly with engineers, designers, and data scientists to understand and satisfy members’ needs, while communicating and coordinating closely with business partners and leadership
  • Develop clear, concise and well-documented rationales for product development (including project briefs, stories, and analyses) to guide squad work and ensure transparency across the organization
  • Devise creative and innovative ways of bringing real value to life through your owned products, and guide your squad toward ideal outcomes for practical, robust, and useful member experiences
  • Constantly discover and implement ways of improving your own product, process and flexibility

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software product management experience according to lean or Agile (though not necessarily scrum) methodologies, specifically for mobile or web-based services
  • Exceptional problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve and improve product strategy based on coaching, research findings and industry trends
  • Experience with software development and a good technical acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • An eye for process design and organizational dynamics
  • A passion for driving efficiency and quality metrics
  • A passion for web and mobile technologies
  • Demonstrated success in developing excellent products from concept to launch
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
