Intersection Technology and Design, Inc. seeks a Senior Strategic Consultant in New York, New York.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients to define projects’ scope and identify, clearly articulate, and prioritize business requirements.
• Support project deliverable creation, review, management and archiving. Interface with vendors, consultants, and software providers on behalf of our clients.
• Collaborate with the user experience and the research and design teams to shape concept design, product development, and product implementation roadmaps.
• Follow business and IT trends, strategy and design thinking, and management consulting practices.
• Translate client needs and technology solutions into business strategies.
• Implement and manage specific technology requirements for innovative and user-friendly systems through new product offerings, process changes, system re-design or re-architecture, technology interface changes, and software solutions.
• Responsible for client executive and line of business interviews, gathering requirements from stakeholder interviews and gap analysis, and assessing the market landscape.
• Conduct best practice assessments, key performance indicators analysis, technical evaluations and assessments, business process mapping and analysis, ethnographic research, user experience and mapping, and solution development analysis.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business, Urban Planning, Engineering or related field and 8 years of experience in business, technology or in-house strategy consulting, business operations or business analysis (experience can be gained pre, post, or during Master’s).
• Experience to include:
• (i) 8 years software development lifecycle and technology project management processes in a client facing role;
• (ii) 8 years implementing business and technology solutions in: business process changes, system re-design or re-architecture, technology interface changes, or software solutions;
• (iii) 7 years gathering system requirements; and, (iv) 7 years identifying and translating business issues and opportunities through technology solutions, processes research, and user interviews.
• Travel, as required by client and project, up to 50% of the time.
