As a result of our tremendous growth, we are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer at Frontline to work in our Rockville Centre, New York office.

 

We are looking for a senior user experience designer with expert capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment which requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical and highly creative ideas to a design engagement. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must. 

Specific responsibilities include:

• Helping drive team building and collaboration
• Visual design definition, direction and execution
• Interaction design definition, direction and execution
• Design effort level scoping
• Collaborating on user experience planning with technical leads and project leads
• Consulting with clientele
• Researching interaction design trends
• Researching technology trends
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Some travel is required 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Three or more years of user experience design experience for business web applications which leverage emergent technologies
• Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook technique
• Exceptional design skills and attention to detail
• Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and associated design tools
• Proficient with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and responsive design concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of common software project management practices
• Understanding of common software development practices
• Portfolio must accompany resume
