LearnVest is seeking a Social Media Manager to help us change what personal finance and planning means for Americans. This individual will work with the Sr. Director of Content and Social to define LearnVest’s presence across social channels, leveraging them as platforms to educate, inspire and grow our followers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee social content strategy, planning and execution
  • Be our voice across social, deciding where and how we reach our audience
  • Work with Sr. Director of Content and Social to create comprehensive strategy for individual channels
  • Manage and engage our community, inspiring dialogue and quick customer feedback
  • Work with legal and compliance to ensure creative and campaigns meet standards
  • Oversee campaigns and series that establish LearnVest as a must-follow brand
  • Manage social calendar that aligns with content and video initiatives
  • Work with Multimedia Producer and Creative team to create shareable visuals
  • Differentiate LearnVest through distribution and compelling media
  • Write copy that compels individuals and influencers to join the conversation
  • Manage creative process and workflow
  • Media plan execution and optimization
  • Reporting deliverables and ongoing optimization for content
  • Coordinate with PR to communicate brand milestones to our audience
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, journalism or related field
  • 5+ years experience within Content/Social Marketing
  • Understanding of how content is shared and consumed differently across digital, social and mobile platforms
  • A passion for all things social, including what’s trending and who’s talking about it
  • Ability to use analytics to help drive daily decisions and overall strategy
  • Project management experience, including a track record of delivering results
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team and multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
