We're looking for a full-time developer to help as extra muscle, internally, as we grow. This person would be knowledgeable with the below technologies, plus have the right experience to demonstrate that knowledge.
Stadium Goods is growing fashion/e-commerce business, based in NYC. The project we are working on is a platform which is built around many microservices which expose their data using JSON-API.
Important technologies to be familiar with are:
- Familiarity with Javascript, PHP, and MySQL is important. Demonstrated knowledge and experience using both backend and frontend Javascript frameworks is vital.
- EmberJS: Experience consuming APIs and creating fast frontends
- Lumen / Laravel: Experience creating various types of applications using any professional-level PHP framework such as Zend, Symfony, or Laravel can be considered, as many core concepts are shared between them. Experience specifically with Lumen and/or Laravel is favored. Familiarity with composer is important.
- JSON-API: Our APIs exposed via Lumen and consumed by EmberJS follow the JSON-API spec. It is important to know how and why this is used.
- Git: It should go without saying, but knowledge and demonstrated experience of Git is a pre-requisite.
