The Job
We are hiring a Software Engineer to help us build the next generation of products for end-to-end SaaS data protection. Our products will leverage AI/ML based federated analytics to deliver actionable insights to enable our customers to grow their business.
Our tech stack is Python, React and we are migrating our webapp framework from Rails to Django. As a SaaS platform we operate in a cloud native environment. Our products are developed on AWS and we support AWS and Azure. Our plans include containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) of our products to help us scale and meet demand from a fast growing client base. We aspire to remain cloud agnostic to support a varied client base. We believe in a culture of continuous improvement and constant refactoring.
Your Day-to-Day Role
- Participating in daily scrum meetings
- Writing your code with the highest coding standard
- Participating in design reviews
- Learning new technologies
- Responsible for leading features from concept to delivery - working with product managers and R&D
- Performing code reviews and ensuring quality
- Secure-coding/infosec principles
Your Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a software developer, using Python.
- Proven experience in developing features in high-scale applications
- Experience with developing features from design stage to deployment
- Experience with Dockers/ K8s- big advantage
- BSc in Computer-science or equivalent degree
- Being a team player
- English proficiency at a high level
- Knowledge with React - advantage
- Knowledge with ROR - advantage
Important Details
This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
