Our team is seeking a Solutions Architect that will be responsible for creating and enabling a pedagogically sound, outcomes-based customer vision leading to the successful adoption and integration of the Knewton platform by target accounts in his or her region.

This is a great opportunity to:
  • Use instructional design principles, knowledge of higher education pedagogy and instructional practice in combination with expert knowledge of Knewton’s capabilities to help institutions craft a solid, outcomes-based vision for implementing Knewton in customer’s unique environment to meet their unique goals
  • Utilize a deep understanding of Knewton’s technology and product roadmap
  • Lead discovery meetings and develop needs analysis to fully understand the customer’s goals and document the use case(s), considering a variety of stakeholders as needed (administrators, coordinators, lab managers, faculty, adjuncts, students, etc.)
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert to answer nuanced questions
  • Partner with the regional sales executive on strategy
  • Engage with prospects pre-sales to ensure the viability of the Knewton solution, inspire customer vision and provide credibility through sharing of best practices and successful parallel use cases
  • Leverage both internal and external resources in order to architect the solution for the institution
  • Work with each adopting institution, Knewton’s data scientists, and other internal teams to define actionable metrics to drive customer behavior and enable (measurable) customer success and satisfaction
  • Train students, instructors, and other stakeholders as needed to ensure deep integration of the Knewton platform and enable customer success
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop collateral for Sales enablement and customer success - particularly online training and development resources
  • Identify and recruit Faculty Champions (customer advocates)
  • Partner with Director/Manager of Faculty Champions program to train, develop and strategically deploy FCs in the region
  • Direct Account Support to ensure technical setup and consistently excellent customer support
  • Drive and support efficacy studies, case studies and surveys with piloting and adopting institutions
What we are looking for:
  • 5+ years of work experience in sales engineering, solutions management, or implementations support
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders of varying levels of technical and maturity
  • Ability to facilitate strong relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Minimum 35% travel with the region; ability to work remotely/independently
  • Ability to prioritize and communicate both technical and user implications of implementation decisions to customers as well as internal groups
  • Some background in education; teaching experience in STEM subjects a plus
  • Broad understanding of how digital products are designed and delivered
