The Job

We’re looking for a senior marketing manager- someone with deep sales marketing experience- to work with our best-in-class sales, marketing, and Gimlet Creative teams. Our ads and branded podcasts are parallels to the excellent editorial work we do, and we treat our branded creative process with the same amount of rigor, precision, and originality. The senior marketing manager will be instrumental in ensuring that client deliverables are met, from pre- to post-sale, to a standard that’s consistent with the Gimlet name and for helping reinforce the excellent client relationships we’re known for.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with Gimlet Creative, our branded content team, to project manage the creative execution process of ads and branded podcasts
  • Respond to RFP’s, help with sales material development, and deck creation
  • Communicate and liaise with clients, sales, and Gimlet Creative to ensure all client deliverables are met during the post-sale process
  • Lead custom campaign related communication, including internal and external kick off calls, production timelines, launch confirmation emails, and troubleshooting discussions.
  • Educate and guide new and existing clients on best practices

What You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in a high-caliber marketing organization with proven, measurable success
  • Fluency in ad sales marketing
  • A team player attitude who can collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization
  • An organized, get-stuff-done approach— a desire to take initiative to make things happen
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated, superior customer service in a client-facing role
