Intersection is seeking a Vertical Solutions Architect to join a newly formed Vertical Solutions Sales Team, which is paving the groundwork for new emerging digital platforms & experiences in combination with physical advertising solutions. The Vertical Solutions Architect is responsible for helping develop the way in which we construct our sales packages, operationalize our products / process & tell our story through a categorical lens.

Sales:

  • Support Vertical Strategists with digital & OOH clients/agencies RFP’s (inbound & outbound)
  • Lead packaging, inventory development, marketing management as it relates to a category approach to Intersection’s advertising business
  • Lead Internal Evangelization (lead existing communication streams / create new innovative ones) within the organization
  • Utilization of creative efforts toward inbound asks / proactive pitches
  • Assist in product & packaging training efforts / establish and coordinate virtual roadshows for National & Local Sales in tandem with regional client meetings
  • Assist in annual category reviews for executive management

Operational Efforts:

  • Partner with Research, Sales Ops, Marketing to create category competitive analysis / landscape
  • Inventory Management: Ensuring digital & OOH advertising solutions can be planned and tracked dynamically in various sales tools and systems
  • Building and processing blind / non-blind Category case studies
  • Initiate & lead for development of pre & post-campaign research initiatives / needs by category
  • Develop systems and processes to track and report on material usage and category effectiveness—a feedback loop for continuous improvement

Strategy / Marketing:

  • Support Vertical Solutions Team through development of categorical marketing / sales materials for internal and external distribution in tandem with Marketing Team
  • Assist in development of marketing plans and internal products ideation needed to grow our advertising business / category
  • Work with centralized creative services and Brand, Comm. and Marketing teams on collateral design, elements and packaging of all category marketing initiatives
  • Spearhead development of a calendar of seasonal / tentpole events in tandem with Marketing & Sales Team(s) to build out formal partnership opportunities with a category focus throughout FY
  • Create, package & operationalize sponsorship programs
  • Communicate sales feedback on programs to marketing/support teams to manage pipeline
  • Project-manage the setup, implementation, delivery & STR of custom digital programs
  • Monitor industry at large to understand trends / innovations in the digital & OOH businesses

Requirements:

  • 6-8+ years vertical marketing expertise on a tech platform at a strategic brand / agency within the digital group
  • Strong understanding and experience in B2B, B2C, product marketing directly to clients and throughout the media / tech ecosystem
  • Creative and strategic thinker, experienced in setting a creative presentations / sell sheets, and driving alignment across cross functional teams within Intersection’s organization
  • Strong project management, communication and ability to translate complex processes and capabilities into simple and intuitive communications within a fast-paced environment
  • Distinctive problem solving & analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior Excel and Powerpoint skills
