Bankrate is hiring a Video Production Intern to assist with the day-to-day operations of our video department in promoting The Cashlorette brand and personality. Our ideal candidate understands the types of stories The Cashlorette tells and can help us expand, through video, our audience reach and engagement.
This position will be based in our New York office.

About the Role:

• Assist in scheduling/fulfilling daily PR requests with various news outlets
• Assist in all areas of video production, media prep, archiving & distribution
• Monitor and flag trending video topics & styles for the team to use across platforms
• Compile analytics for the team
• Participate in brainstorming sessions
• Assist in the production of Facebook live broadcasts

About You:

• Experience or interest in video production
• Working knowledge of non-linear editing platforms
• Sharp attention to detail
• Must be social media savvy
• Strong writing and organizational skills
• Interest in live studio production
• Willingness to take initiative and propose new ideas
• Experience with Adobe Premier and After Effects ideal as is experience with script writing.
• Be a team player and enjoy working collaboratively
• Some graphic design experience is preferred, but not required
