Refinery29 is seeking a data-driven candidate to join our video team in a programming capacity. The candidate must have extensive knowledge working on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and other social channels, as well as possess production experience in a media environment.
This role will communicate regularly with the editorial and social teams.
What you'll do:
- Program Short Cuts video content across social platforms and on .com
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly view goals
- Optimize packaging based on insights
- Engage the Short Cuts community
- Maintain feedback loop with content creators
- Design tests to push content strategy forward
- Identify new distribution opportunities
- A love for beauty a must!
What you have:
- 1-2 years experience working with video and social media, preferably for a publication
- Fluent in Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest
- Extremely proactive and able to work independently, while remaining an excellent collaborator
- An understanding of video production, editing, and distribution crucial
This is a full-time freelance role working 40 hours a week.
