We’re a good fit for a hungry, creative, and strategic self-starter who wants to work on a variety of projects. The Software Development Intern will assist in the creation, maintenance, and documentation of our Virtual Reality experiences.

We are looking for bright, college-level students to participate in our internship program in VR Engineering. The positions are not allocated to a specific discipline or set of skills, but rather will be tailored to the student’s abilities, areas of interest and what the company is currently engaged in developing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The Software Development Intern will assist in all aspects of the development process, including research, implementation, testing, QA, and documentation. They will primarily work on:

  • Bug-fixes
  • Documentation
  • Building new modules and features in a self-driven manner

Requirements:

  • This position is perfect for a Computer Science undergraduate in their junior or senior year.
  • Strong logical reasoning skills
  • Practical experience working on sizable projects as a member of a team.
  • The ability to think strategically and prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication skills

Experience with or Desire to learn:

  • 3D Modeling using Blender
  • Building scenes in Unity
  • C# Programming for Unity
  • Math and programming skills as pertains to 3D rendering
  • 3D Graphics APIs (OpenGL, Metal, Vulkan)
  • Programmatic 3D Mesh Manipulation
  • C++ programming for extending Blender
  • Technical issues related to headset tracking and VR User Interfaces
