DESCRIPTION

Away is looking for a fast-paced and detail-oriented individual to gather and manage deliverables needed for digital campaigns and product launches. The Web Production Associate will also be responsible for triaging bugs and QAing all aspects of our online experience, including our webstore as well as our editorial site.

This individual will be working closely with the Digital Product Manager and Head of E-Commerce, along with internal business owners (including operations, creative, marketing, data / analytics, CX, product development, and more) to ensure all deliverables are submitted and completed while supporting the company’s business objectives. The right candidate is excited to be an early employee at a recently-launched, venture-backed lifestyle brand and is eager to take on a wide array of responsibilities. This position is based out of our headquarters in NoHo, New York City.

REQUIREMENTS

What you'll do:

• Work in conjunction with product manager and engineering team to ensure all web campaigns pass QA and are launched on schedule
• Collaborate with internal business owners (including operations, creative, marketing, data / analytics, CX, product development, and more)
• Gather and manage deliverables needed for digital campaigns and product launches
• Be the first point of contact for triaging bugs and escalating to engineering team when necessary
• Updating and maintaining content for our webstore and editorial site
• Ensure overall quality of all of Away’s digital properties

Who you are:

• You have 1-3 years of experience in an e-commerce environment. Prior startup experience highly preferred.
• You have experience with e-commerce platforms (Spree / Solidus, Magento, Shopify, etc.) and CMSs (Wordpress, Drupal, etc.)
• You have experience with project management tools (Asana, Trello, JIRA, etc.)
• You can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You’re intellectually curious and eager to understand how / why something works (or doesn’t) for a user
• You have an understanding of web development and architecture and UX design principles. Familiarity with data architecture a plus.
• HTML / CSS / Sketch / InVision / Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus
• You love to travel (but that's a given)
