Latch today announced plans to rebrand to Door.com. It aims to empower service workers like builders, property managers, contractors, drivers, cleaners and dog walkers with tech that helps them deliver best-in-class experiences. The new Door.com brand will provide an end-to-end platform to simplify day-to-day operations, deliver financial freedom and increase support and efficiency for these service providers. To kick off its efforts, Door.com is introducing the James app, which allows drivers to book clients and manage their businesses, while riders can connect directly with drivers they know and trust.
The goal of Door.com is to give service workers the necessary tools and support to run their businesses and maximize their earnings. The company intends to launch additional brands under the Door.com umbrella to create a platform that provides these service providers with access control solutions while also ensuring that they get the most economic benefit from their hard work. Door.com is expected to officially launch in 2024.
