Associate Producer, VICE on HBO
OVERVIEW
VICE on HBO is currently seeking an Associate Producer for its forthcoming sixth season. The ideal candidate is an experienced Associate Producer or someone ready to graduate to the AP level who lives and breathes domestic and international news, and who arrives with extensive experience working on the video side of a news organization.
You will maintain a cool head and clear judgment under pressure and demonstrate the ability to move quickly, stay organized, and adapt as stories and the demands of production develop and change. You will also have a track record of successfully supporting producers and correspondents and be able to demonstrate that success.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Impeccable research and writing skills, can demonstrate expertise in the news and documentary field, and have the ability to flourish in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the international news landscape and news cycles
- Fluency in Spanish or additional languages a plus
- 3+ years media experience in film, digital media or television
- Ability to work in a Mac work environment required
- Ability to shoot and edit video is a plus
