Oscar is on a mission to reinvent health insurance in America - employing technology, design, and data to humanize healthcare. With the goal of simplifying consumer experiences, creating easier access and managing costs, Oscar seeks to effect big change and disrupt the healthcare industry. The Brand Studio is a new team in Brand Marketing designed to bring Oscar to life through copy, design and experiences - creating for all brand touch points. Collaborating across all teams, they ensure quality and consistency across everything we do.

As the Brand Studio Manager you’ll be a pivotal part of a cross-functional team working with designers, copywriters, vendors and a wide range of internal stakeholders to facilitate the best Brand work. You’ll be in charge of studio operations, managing project queues, streamlining communications and information sharing, and coordinating between the Brand Studio and the rest of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Take projects from brief through delivery with extensive experience in all delivery formats across digital, print and OOH.

  • Own and manage studio-wide processes with an eye toward maintaining work quality above all else.

  • Manage creative queue, assignments, deadlines and delivery of all active projects.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Brand team across all of Marketing as well as other groups at Oscar.

  • Own vendor relationships and understand when external partners/resources are needed to supplement the internal capabilities.

You are:

  • A fast learner. Healthcare is complicated; you’re excited to get into the details, learn the business quickly, and apply that to the work done in the studio.

  • Experienced. You have worked in a project management or operational capacity
before and have managed complicated initiatives with interdependencies across people and projects.

  • Organized. You are well versed in team-level management and getting things done, managing multiple projects and work streams simultaneously. Schedules and spreadsheets make you smile more than they should.

  • A good communicator. You bring everyone together using clear communication and strong structured thinking. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Collaborative. You love working with lots of people and know how to build relationships. You work with others to solve problems and get things done together.

  • Autonomous and scrappy. You can run on your own without oversight and find a way to get things done without all the pieces in place.

  • Process Oriented. You have familiarity with the creative process - moving work through briefing, reviews, approval and delivery.

In the first 90 days, you will:

  • Immerse yourself in the world of Oscar and all its audiences, and understand how we communicate the Oscar experience across channels and contexts.

  • Help define process for the Brand Studio as we continue to grow in scope and headcount.

  • Establish yourself across teams and partners as the main point of contact for Studio work.

  • Kickoff production planning for upcoming campaigns including Open Enrollment, our biggest campaign of the year.

You have…

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as either a Project Manager or Studio Manager, at an agency or in-house. A combination of both is preferred.

  • Proven project management abilities and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Experience managing projects, workflows and processes from ideation to execution, in a creative setting.

  • Experience identifying and managing vendors.
