Radish Fiction, a mobile app for serialized fiction, seeks a Community Operations Associate to help us set the tone for and manage our community of avid readers. This position is the opportunity to be part of a fast growing start-up with dynamic teams in both New York and Seoul. Responsibilities will include: reviewing reported content and objectively enforcing Radish policies, as well as monitoring in-app community activity, including Radish LIVE chats and comments, and overseeing off-platform community engagement, including Facebook fan pages. Applicants should have a passion for keeping online communities safe spaces and for engaging with readers of all kinds.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to filter detailed information into effective communications
• Ability to focus for long periods of time on queue-based work
• Extremely organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Highly tolerant of content that some people might find objectionable
• Even-keeled with a cool, calm, & collected manner
• Open to flexible working hours - including some evening meetings with our Korea team and potential for weekend work
• Experience in a community operations or online community moderation role

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working from decision trees to ensure objective decision making
• Experience working with remote teams
• Familiarity with Romance genre fiction
• Knows some Korean 

Note: This position is based out of our New York City office. Initial onboarding and work will be remote but with the expectation of being in the NYC office when social distancing measures are eased.
