At LearnVest and Northwestern Mutual, we help people make the most of their lives through financial planning.
We are building a full service in-house agency and seeking top talent with agency experience in New York City.
As a Copywriter, you will work on branding, traditional, digital and social campaigns, website copy, CRM and some product work.
Our Copywriters know what works and what doesn’t. They’re fluent in concepting and collaborating, and have mastered the art of writing in multiple styles for various channels. They’re comfortable presenting copy and concepts to stakeholders and their ideas are fresh, strategic and always on brand.
Responsibilities:
- Concept and execute mostly digital marketing efforts, including emails, digital tools, and social media
- Collaborate with Experience Designers, Art Directors, Producers, Product Managers, and Tech Leads on a daily basis
- Manage the quality of copy deliverables, making sure they meet the highest standards
- Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills
- Present work to stakeholders of all levels
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of digital agency experience
- Flexible, resourceful, confident, and comfortable enough to write in variety of styles and formats
- Collaborative work ethic and easy going nature
- Able to take direction, go beyond what’s asked, and constantly challenge oneself
- Is hands-on and excels at juggling multiple projects and tasks at a time
- Experience working on a financial brand is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related subject, or relevant work experience
