Creator Success is at the center of Vocal and we’re looking for a Creator Success Associate to nurture new relationships and strengthen existing ones with the over 600,000 creators on Vocal.  

The responsibilities of the job will be split between helping to maintain the safety of Vocal communities and helping creators maximize their success on the platform as well as participating in the feedback loop of creator needs and platform improvements.

The Creator Success Associate will be expected to:

  • Foster safe communities for creators and engaging experience for readers by reviewing creator submissions for adherence to Vocal’s community guidelines and support creator’s stories with editorial suggestions

  • Understand the needs of creators through data analysis and think abstractly through solutions

  • Master knowledge of the Vocal platform, resources and community guidelines inside and out, being an expert in solving problems with a creator-centric approach 

  • Identify opportunities to develop new training materials designed to ensure successful creator onboarding and deepen Vocal proficiency for both creators and the rest of the Vocal team

  • Engage in internal product discussions, translating creator usage and feedback into actionable insights and feature ideas

  • Adept at switching between various roles that may be required, such as assisting our Social Media or Customer Service teams

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related major

  • Have at least 1 year of experience in Customer Success/Support, Account Management, or Copy Editing

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Knack for picking up new skills and concepts quickly, then being able to apply them where fit

  • Be knowledgeable in ways to apply style guides, company policies and guidelines

  • Be a resourceful and creative problem solver

  • Be knowledgeable of SEO practices

  • Be able to multitask and efficiently jump between multiple job duties

  • Be able to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
