We are looking for a Digital Content Director to join our NYC team to manage and optimize our editorial process, managing a team of copywriters and driving the strategic vision for our content creation. You will work closely with teams across multiple business lines to develop a digital content plan that helps our customers achieve their campaign goals. A day in the life…

• Lead the development of original, engaging content, with input from Strategy, Business, and Design leads
• Build and manage calendars, timelines, and scope to ensure that all content is delivered on-schedule to the client
• Manage team of copywriters who develop content that targets multiple audiences and spans local and national campaigns
• Perform final copy editing to maintain that all content has been proofed for factual, grammatical, and spelling errors
• Maintain style guide and voice as given and refine that guide based on performance and search data analysis

We’re excited about you if you have…

• 6+ years of experience writing and editing marketing and/or editorial content for brands in house or at an agency
• Experience developing a content strategy and creating specific multi-channel content for digital channels per that strategy for well-known clients
• Strong understanding of – and experience leveraging – digital analytics and insights to inform audience engagement and content decisions
• Exceptional research, writing, proofreading, and editing skills, as demonstrated in your portfolio and on assignments provided
• Excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage projects and deadlines across multiple stakeholders, teams, and priorities
• Experience managing and inspiring a team of writers, fostering collaboration and learning on the team
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, writing, journalism, or other relevant degree
