Role Description:
As a member of the Education Content and Insights team, you will support our efforts to improve the quality of the Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) catalog and serve as an education expert to marketing, product, and other internal TpT teams with a particular focus on implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) criteria. You'll manage special projects and drive initiatives on a wide range of potential topics that help incorporate education best practices across teams at TpT
You’ll get to work with a group of experienced educators and researchers who are passionate about helping the millions of teachers who use our site. We’re a small and mighty team that leads and supports critical initiatives across the company and we’re looking for a motivated individual to bring additional expertise to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive efforts to improve the diversity and inclusion of TpT resources and catalog as well as the implementation of a long term comprehensive DEI roadmap.
- Coordinate programs and initiatives that help TpT employees understand trends in education and connect more deeply to our company mission.
- Coordinate special projects to integrate education best practices in the catalog and at the company at large.
- Partner with internal teams like Marketing and Product to ensure they have access to ongoing subject matter expertise and education insights
- Review and evaluate high-quality resources for promotion in partnership with Editorial, Seller, Legal, and Marketplace Integrity teams.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of education-related experience
- BA/BS or equivalent required
- Proven track record and experience with DEI curriculum design and/or teacher training
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Ability to independently coordinate a number of projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and team skills and ability to work with our community
- Passionate for our mission and action-oriented
