We are seeking a LATAM Marketing Associate who will create content, communications materials and execute marketing projects that amplify our message across different channels in the Latin American market. In close collaboration with Marketing and the LATAM Accounts team, you will use your storytelling skills to ensure all communication materials are written in a cohesive and polished way that enhances our brand. Ideally, this candidate will have experience in the cryptocurrency industry, ICOs or financial technology companies, and is comfortable writing about the technological and financial premises involved with Bitcoin.

What you'll be doing:

• Execute the content and copywriting strategy for the LATAM market, in close collaboration with the Marketing team and the LATAM Account Executive.
• Create Spanish-language, brand-compliant communication materials for the Paxful blog, marketing emails, our website, the UX/design team, advertisements, social media content and special projects, such as videos, events and conferences.
• Ensure all Spanish brand communications is consistent in tone and style across various Paxful media and channels.
• Execute on the LATAM market expansion strategy by creating engaging, customer-facing communications materials that takes into account their tone and level of understanding of Bitcoin technologies.
• Create, edit and communicate content specialized for the LATAM market and audiences.
• Strategize marketing and communications initiatives around new product launches in the LATAM market.
• Translate and edit the communication materials developed by the Senior Copywriter and the copy team.
• Optimize Spanish copy according to SEO best practices and conduct keyword research.
• Collaborate on UX and AB testing processes, and conversion optimization for the LATAM markets.
• Communicate seamlessly with the teams based in Estonia, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
• Keep abreast on industry news, trends and developments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to the table:

• 3 years of experience working in copywriting, marketing or communications, preferably in financial technology.
• Native proficiency in Spanish, working proficiency in English.
• Superior written and verbal communication in Spanish, and knowledge of cultural specific within the Latin American region.
• Understanding of the media and marketing landscape in the Latin American region.
• Attention to detail and ability to translate complex information into clear, concise copy.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and organize work autonomously.
• Experience with SEO, UX and AB testing processes, and conversion optimization.
• Demonstrable interest in Bitcoin and related technology.

Ideally, you also have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Proficiency in Portuguese.
• Experience working in cryptocurrency, blockchain, ICO or financial technology industries in a relevant role.
• Startup or entrepreneurship experience.
