About the role

This role is a part-time Player News Writer who works several shifts per week producing content for numberFire’s player news, for the FanDuel Scout App and for fantasy news released via push notifications from the FanDuel core app.

What You'll Do

• Research and identify key pieces of news from several sources in real-time
• Write news blurbs pertaining to key fantasy players, teams and moments
• Work as part of a team of news writers to collaborate in real-time ahead of tentpole sporting events on a daily basis

Who we’re looking for

• Knowledge of sports and what’s important to daily fantasy players
• Strong news judgment, grammar skills and attention to detail in high-leverage situations
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from full-time team members
