Product Security Team Manager
Squarespace is looking for a Product Security Team Manager to lead a group of security engineers responsible for securing a platform that powers millions of websites. You'll be an expert on application security, champion product and application security best practices, and aid teams to keep their code free from security bugs. You will report to the Security Engineering Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of security engineers to bring product security programs to success
- Develop the team's strategy, roadmap, and track progress against it
- Manage Product Security functions and programs
- Partner with product and engineering leaders across the organization to help them implement security features and fix vulnerabilities in their products
- Build and support security-focused tools and services
- Engage with the security research community through Squarespace's bug bounty program
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience experience working in a Product Security Team or equivalent function
- 2+ years of leadership experience with direct reports
- Communication and leadership capacity; ability to work with diverse company partners
- Experience with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (Secure SDLC) concepts
- Experience guiding teams to writing high-quality, maintainable code (experience working in a large codebase )
- Experience working with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Secrets Management in real-world
- Practical knowledge of OWASP Top 10 Application security vulnerabilities
- Fluency in modern web technologies and engineering workflows
- Experience working with cloud technologies (eg. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience coordinating with GRC/Internal Audit team in the facilitation of external audits (SOX, PCI DSS)
