Data Analyst, Growth Marketing

As an analyst with a strong background in Marketing reporting, analytics, and optimization, you will strengthen the team in data visualization, data processing, and workflow automation. You will contribute to high-quality dashboards and augment our reporting capabilities that will enable executives in marketing, business, and product to use data for refining and validating marketing, business, and product strategies.
The ideal candidate is based out of New York or Atlanta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Devising and executing ad-hoc analyses that answer business questions/hypotheses from diverse stakeholders with appropriate statistical approaches
- Acquiring and wrangling data from various sources
- Designing, building, and operationalizing dashboards that answer key business questions and/or visualize the outcomes of marketing campaigns across channels (e.g. Paid Search, Programmatic Display), as well as hypothesis-driven experiments in CRM, user experience, and product
- Telling a story with data, including identifying actionable insights and recommendations
Required Experience and Background:
- 3+ years of experience working with data from various marketing channels, such as performance marketing and lifecycle management/CRM
- 3+ years of experience working with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, including manipulating raw data exports
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL or relational databases - e.g. BigQuery
- 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools - e.g. Looker, Google Data Studio
- Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
- Effectively communicating with clients about their support needs and requirements, managing the intake process, and asking the right questions to scope and solve the requests
- Working knowledge of marketing measurement concepts such as marketing attribution, lifetime value, and A/B/n experiments
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience working with Google BigQuery
- Experience with data management, specifically with building data systems and validating reports from disparate systems
- Conversant with Mobile Measurement Platforms, e.g. Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch
- Experience working in the subscription application space is highly desirable
- Understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis-driven experimentation
- Ability to read page source code (HTML, CSS, etc.)
