Position Summary

The keystone player on the Operations Strategy team, overseeing a wide breadth of analytics topics within operations and ensuring alignment with the company's broader vision. The ideal candidate for this role is both a strategic thinker and a mentor, capable of charting the course of our data endeavors while also nurturing the growth of our Operations Strategy team. This position will increase the level of data-driven decision making in operations, liaising between executive leadership and multiple internal and external teams to ensure our strategy is robust, actionable, and data-driven.

About You

  • Experience synthesizing data and complex information to form actionable insights. An analytical professional with attention to detail and high standard of performance excellence.
  • Able to create analytical reports that are easy to use. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills that enable internal customers to use the analytical output created. 
  • Demonstrated project management and financial aptitude. A creative problem-solver with a passion for producing quality deliverables.   
  • Confident and naturally collaborative. A curious and independent thinker with strong intellectual agility. A team player who excels in a dynamic and results driven culture.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a servant leadership mindset. A proficient multi-tasker with a fast action orientation and high ethical standards. 
  • Strong analytical skills using Excel as well as past experience with a database querying language such as SQL.
  • Experience with leading Productivity (Google Suite) and Business Intelligence tools (Sigma).

Responsibilities

  • Continuous Improvement and Training: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, staying updated with the latest analytical tools and techniques, and providing training and mentorship to junior analysts and other team members.
  • Advanced Analytics: Develop and deploy advanced analytical models to improve our understanding of Network supply and demand, identify operational inefficiencies, and deliver actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Monitor Network for compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, and identify potential risk areas and outliers.
  • Collaborative Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing the Network, ensuring that analytics-driven insights are at the core of decision-making.
  • Operations Strategy: Deliver analysis, insights, and recommendations to support the development of operations strategy 
  • Data Management & Integration: Partner with Agero platform and data engineering stakeholders to design and maintain systems that collect, integrate, and cleanse data from multiple 3rd party sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Cost Analysis: Be the owner and subject matter expert of claims cost drivers in our Network, consistently identifying opportunities for savings and optimization
  • Collaborative Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing the Network, ensuring that analytics-driven insights are at the core of decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decisions.
  • Testing: Leads test and pilots for process changes as a a result of analysis and communicates the results and recommendations to all areas of management
  • Subject matter expert: Serves as an internal data analytics expert by ensuring consistency in data analysis methodologies and sharing of best practices.

Education/Experience/Skills

  • 7+ years of business and data analysis experience, with at least 2 years leading teams or large projects.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Very strong problem-solving skills and business acumen with a proven track record of driving data-driven strategic outcomes.
  • Experience with data management, specifically with validating and auditing data and reports from multiple systems.
  • Demonstrated project and task management capability.
  • Past experience with BI, Google Workspace, and CRM Tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases is required.
  • BA/BS Degree required from a top-tier university, preferably in a field that emphasizes data analysis and communication (e.g., computer science, social sciences, physical sciences, math, engineering, or statistics). A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
