About the Role

We are looking to hire a Data Quality Associate to play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of alternative investment data across all stages of the client life cycle. A successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally and leverage their attention to detail to identify and resolve potential data quality issues flagged by our data quality system. This role is instrumental in maintaining high standards of data quality to ensure client satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing automated tools and systems to monitor and identify potential data quality issues.
  • Investigating flagged issues, collaborating with relevant teams to understand the root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Conducting thorough reviews of incoming data sets, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
  • Reconciling investment data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of data quality processes, issues, and resolutions.
  • Generating reports on data quality metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and presenting findings to the management team.
  • Working closely with the client onboarding, support, and operations-engineering teams to ensure accurate and complete data entry during client engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics) or experience in data quality management, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to spot patterns and anomalies.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and techniques, including SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Why join us:

  • Your work is high impact - Being part of a small team means you have real responsibility and impact from day one. You'll be involved in discussions that drive the growth and direction of our platform from the very beginning.
  • You'll learn a lot about a lot - The operations team functions across the entire company, from working with new and prospective clients, to liaising with the engineering team to build a new feature or improve an existing one.
  • Low bureaucracy - We may be small, but that means we're nimble and can move quickly. New changes are being added to our platform every day, and we're always looking for ways to do things better. If a feature or process doesn't make sense or could be more efficient, you always have the power to make it better.
  • Team community and camaraderie - We are a small team, and we have enormous trust in each other and always do what we can do to support one another. We're always ready to step in to help.
