Please read the entire description. We are looking for a specific set of skills and a specific fit.

About You

You are a problem-solver. You enjoy hard problems. You are not afraid to be wrong, but you know what you are doing. You are interested in working on interesting problems, with a team of smart people, who also know what they are doing.

You understand financial systems; Bollinger Bands, MACD, RSI and other technical and stochastic indicators.

You think about time-series problems in your spare time and read Flash Boys for fun.

You believe you have answers to difficult problems -- or can at least work toward solving those problems, without an ego.

You've written production code and have used GitHub.

Apologies for being direct -- Do not apply if you are an academic without practical, real-world experience developing software.

About Us

We are a team of talented people who have solved some incredible problems in the past, exited "unicorn" startups and created fundamental technologies, in use by major companies.

We are working on the future of trading and we are looking for talented developers who love solving problems. We do not offer "Guitar Hero Mondays" or "Xbox sessions" -- the work is interesting enough and the problems are hard enough to reward everyone.

We are a small, but funded (financially stable) proprietary trading platform & technology company which specializes in artificial intelligence and machine learning for the purpose of trading stocks, currencies, options and commodities.

We are comprised of mostly technology members, with a few sales and executives. We are just now beginning to expand and hire new employees. This is a "ground floor" opportunity.

Members of our team have successfully built and exited several "unicorn" companies over their careers. We are now taking aim at fundamentally changing the financial market (for the better, we believe).

We offer a competitive salary, full health benefits, a great environment and stock options.

About The Position

You would be an early member of the team, with direct working with the Founder and the core team, with a flexible schedule and the ability to have stock options in the company.

You will be required to work in the office, in SoHo. This is not a "work from home" position.

We are in a highly competitive industry and have a large number of trade secretes and proprietary information. You will be expected to sign confidentiality and non-disclosure documents.

More about the Position & Company

We are a quantitative trading system using AI and Machine Learning to generate alpha for an operational Hedge Fund. Our system, originally prototyped in Python, was ported to Go for speed and reliability. If you are a former Python, C/C++, R or [even better] a Go developer looking for a challenge at a growing company, with incredible potential, full health coverage, a great benefits package, and stock options -- who wants to work in midtown New York (SoHo) [and sometimes from home] -- you should apply to work with us.

You'll need to know Go [or be able to learn quickly], have good knowledge of REST APIs, be able to handle large amounts of data, streaming information, databases [schema & less], machine learning, stochastic and technical indicators, and time-series analysis. You will need to be prepared to learn much more.We have investors, an operational hedge fund and spectacular returns. We'd love you to help us make the system even better, faster and more amazing.

How to Apply

* Send a brief summary, with a simple, concise resume
* If we like it; We schedule an interview with the team
* If it is a fit, we hire you

No drama. No nonsense. No dumb interview questions.
We want to know if you can solve really hard problems and write solid, useful, functional code.
