Ever wanted to play Minority Report with global issues and events while harnessing your data wizardry?
Join us and help bring our feature ideas (and your own!) off the whiteboard and into reality. As a Data Engineer, you will prepare our big data infrastructure to be analyzed by our data scientists. In summary, you will:
Develop ETL processes that are robust, optimized, data-driven and meet the needs of customer
Integrate data from a diverse set of sources, including XML documents, flat files and Web Service APIs
Integrate Multiple streams of data at different ingestion speeds, in a seamless data feed.
Qualifications
Experience creating APIS for customer or internal consumption.
Possess knowledge of SQL, NoSQL graph databases
3-5 years of industry experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science must (advanced degrees would be preferred).
Strong analytical skills and a love for all things data.
