The Data Operations team is responsible for surfacing useful insights from the terabytes of data we amass every day. We value ethics, experimentation, efficiency, and intellectual curiosity. We are looking for someone who will complement the team to innovate without regard to conventions, accelerate us through new tooling, and deliver quality data intelligence to our internal and external partners.

What you will do:

  • Foster and grow an outstanding team of data analysts; Provide coaching and mentorship to the team by providing challenging work, regular feedback, and fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work as measured by employee NPS, team retrospectives, and feedback
  • Partner with Customer Success to improve our ability to communicate the impact of MediaGuard and BotGuard products and build customers’ trust in our products
  • Facilitate detection research process responsible for identifying impactful detection leads, increasing velocity from time of threat identification t implementation of detection and blocking
  • Implement standard methodologies and tooling that will improve quantitative and quality of leads reviewed, efficiency of detection processes, and communication within and outside detection teams
  • Participate in building a thoughtful culture that emphasizes lean principles and optimizes for deep work, collaboration and doing the best work of your career

Who you are:

  • You have experience leading a team, growing junior staff, and going out of your way to support your team
  • You have a good sense of ownership which drives you to find ways to do things better, faster, and leaner; you hold yourself accountable for the quality and accuracy of your work
  • You look to find new and innovative ways to tackle sophisticated problems through meticulous experimentation and application of new technologies
  • You are open and transparent and work in tight collaboration with other team members on data projects and cross-departmentally across the rest of HUMAN
  • Proficiency in SQL; Python experience or exposure preferred
  • Experience working with multi TB to PB data sets in cloud databases
