Quovo is a data platform providing insights and connectivity for millions of financial accounts across thousands of institutions. The Data Science team turns terabytes of financial account data into the innovative products that drive Quovo’s value proposition with our clients. We’re looking for a top-notch Data Scientist with exceptional math skills and the ability to write production-level code to join our team. This is a great opportunity to tackle complex problems and create solutions using a large and unique dataset.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain new data science products on top of the Quovo data set
• Develop large scale machine learning algorithms and implement them in production into the Quovo systems
• Work on classification, clustering, and optimization problems on time series and large unstructured datasets
• Help the team stay updated on the state of the art in data science research and technologies

Skills and experience:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D in a quantitative field
• Experience building advanced mathematical models
• Fluency in Python, Scala or similar programming languages.
• Experience working with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, etc)
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and the Python data science stack (Numpy, Scipy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch) is a plus
