About the company

We believe in a world without misdiagnoses, where every patient receives the best opportunity to recover and lead a healthy life. As a team, we’re solving this problem every single day for millions of patients across the country.

Backed by leading venture capital firm Insight Partners, Covera Health is transforming how quality health care is measured and delivered. We’re starting in radiology where the wrong diagnosis can lead to a cascade effect of misguided care, enormous patient harm and, for some, a missed opportunity for recovery. An early and accurate diagnosis is the patient’s best chance to get better. Today, we are already working with some of the largest healthcare payers and a large share of providers in the country to impact millions of patient lives.

Our first product uses a proprietary framework that leverages advanced data science and artificial intelligence to help patients receive an accurate diagnosis at Centers of Excellence. We are now working to introduce a second product to dramatically expand our reach - and we’re looking for someone to lead this new product effort.

About the role

In this role you will act as the builder and owner of our second product.

You will

  • Be responsible for and ensure the overall success of the product.
  • Work closely with Covera’s founder on establishing the product vision & roadmap.
  • Oversee the day-to-day design and implementation of all aspects of the product across the organization, with a strong focus on speed-to-market.
  • Align closely with external stakeholders at the highest levels of seniority.
  • Support our client-facing teams.
  • Manage any other activities that arise in order to secure the success of the product.

Building and owning this product will be an unrivaled opportunity to build a business that transforms the health tech industry and to showcase how AI-infused clinical intelligence can dramatically impact millions of people every day and in real time.

Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, you will very closely collaborate with our founder/CEO, external stakeholders, and across the entire organization (Sales, Account Management, Data Science, AI, Operations, Provider Success, Legal, Clinical).

Within the first 3 months, you will

  • Successfully launch the pilot program
  • Establish an internal and external implementation work structure
  • Develop internal and external trust-based relationships

Within the first 9 months, you will

  • Launch phase 1 of a nationwide rollout
  • Capture and incorporate the pilot learnings
  • Facilitate the development of the infrastructure required to support a phase 1 rollout and develop a roadmap to support subsequent phases
  • Setup a process to monitor the product’s success
  • Support the sales team in scaling the membership base

Your profile

We’re looking for a highly motivated generalist with experience in taking new products from inception to deployment.

You should have:

  • Excitement to tackle new and challenging problems
  • Openness to failing & willingness to pivot fast
  • A proven track record in successfully building & implementing new solutions
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking
  • Excellent project management ability (attention to detail, appreciation for complexity and stakeholders, bias to action/urgency)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and precisely (oral/written)
  • Highly collaborative attitude
  • A track record in building trusted, external management relationships at senior levels

Benefits

You will be a full-time employee with competitive salary, stock options, and great benefits. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, HRA, 401k, pre-tax commuter benefits, flexible paid time off, and--when we go back to the office--a comfortable office space filled with a variety of quality snacks and beverages. Most importantly, you’ll get to know each of us and we love to work together to find solutions. We are a talented, fun, focused, and unique team of people who are truly passionate about changing healthcare for the better! Even while remote, you'll experience the Covera culture as we offer a host of virtual experiences including a book club, fitness club, guest speakers, dynamic Slack channels, and more!
