TITLE: Manager, Performance Analytics

JOB SUMMARY: Analyze large amounts of data to identify patterns and insights to answer business questions and improve performance metrics, including converting data into information and business intelligence information into insights. Develop operational and performance reporting to the leadership team within the Inbound Sales and Retention organization as well as to senior executive teams on a regular schedule. Provide detailed variance analysis and explanations as well as performance and operational analysis of corporate initiatives and ad-hoc projects. Create, maintain, and distribute a complete set of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of operational and performance-based metrics that form the core set of information for the management team. Work with internal teams, including Business Planning and Business Intelligence teams, to gather operational and technical information. Provide additional intelligence about the business and performance drivers to financial planning & analysis, workforce management teams, marketing and other cross-functional groups on an ad-hoc basis. Work with channel leadership to provide ad hoc analysis. Examine trends in the existing data to uncover opportunities for improvement and efficiency in the business. Create cohesive data structures to integrate metrics and automate reports. Build dashboards in Tableau and other visualization tools to analyze large amounts of data and generate insights. Leverage sophisticated analytic approaches and techniques, quantify impact and track performance of large, multi-channel marketing campaigns, initiatives, and offers. Leverage heterogeneous data from multiple sources including call center data from external vendors, sales projections from flat files, and sales and order information from reporting data marts. Utilize Alteryx and SQL (Structured Query Language) stored procedures for bringing together data from these heterogeneous and complex data structures for the purpose of analysis. Build quality reporting tools and products to extract valuable business insights. Track KPI including Core Primary Service Units and Mobile yield rates, conversion rates, churn and save rates, tier mix and sell-ins, shrinkage rates, and adherence.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field and 6 years of experience providing performance and operational analysis of corporate initiatives and ad-hoc projects; utilizing SQL for data analysis and to inform strategic business decisions. Must have 5 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Power Query, Microsoft DAX, SSDT, and SSAS to analyze data and generate reports. Must have 4 years of experience using business intelligence reporting tools like Tableau or MicroStrategy to generate reports; and using ETL tools including Alteryx for data transformation at multiple stages of data pipeline and for data analytics projects.
