Job Description


We’re looking for a Senior BI Analyst to serve as the primary point of contact for our business teams with respect to business intelligence reporting. In particular, you will understand stakeholder requirements, develop and refine Tableau dashboards, remediate data quality issues, format dashboards for client reporting, optimize dashboard performance, perform exploratory data analysis, and derive insights from the data. You will work with Data Engineers to understand our derived data sets and craft them into informative, actionable, performant dashboards for our various business stakeholders.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

  • Develop and refine Tableau dashboards for various business teams, charting key metrics and extracting data-driven insights
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for all business teams (e.g. answering technical questions, responding to client requests, troubleshooting suspect data, and spearheading new analyses)
  • Deeply understand the data, from source to transformation, and communicate this to relevant business stakeholders
  • Optimize Tableau dashboard and query performance
  • Automate Tableau workflows using tabcmd
  • Own, organize and administer Tableau Online to deliver a better user experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics or a related technical field
  • 2 or more years of experience in data analysis role, with a preference for financial or consulting firms
  • Very good knowledge of a BI reporting tool (e.g. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)
  • Very good writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel and basic statistics
  • Strong ability to understand client needs, clarify requirements, and communicate detailed implementation timelines
