Motivate LLC is looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful Senior Data Analyst to join the Business Operations team. In this role, you will be managing data analytics functions for all aspects of our business to discover insights and develop data-driven resources to guide key decisions.

About the Role:

• Working closely with the executive team, general managers, and Business Operations team members to develop data-driven operational strategy

• Providing tactical insights to Motivate system managers and empower them to optimize daily operations

• Developing dashboards, reports, and data storage solutions to track KPIs across all Motivate systems

• Analyzing trends across all operational departments, including bicycle fleet operations, station technology, bicycle redistribution, and customer service

• Authoring business logic and effectively communicating analyses to technical and non-technical teams

• Reporting operations data to internal and external stakeholders on a recurring basis

• Developing scope for ongoing system and tool development including data structuring and processing

About You:

• You are a team player, thrive in growth environments, and are excited to tackle the unique challenges facing growing transportation and logistics solutions

• You have an undergraduate or graduate background in an analytical field (mathematics, computer science, or similar)

• You have worked for 3+ years in a data-driven analytics role using SQL, Python, and Excel

• You have experience visualizing data in clear and effective ways using technical platforms to clearly communicate insights

• You have a strong understanding of programming language basics

• You have excellent communication skills

• You are a proactive and collaborative problem solver

Bonus points

• Worked with GitHub to track and share code

• Experience visualizing data with Domo and Looker

• Knowledge on how to make maps using CARTO, Mapbox, and QGIS

• Using AWS services such as S3 and Lambda
