Block is a renovation platform that transforms the renovation experience for homeowners and contractors. Block democratizes access to high-end design, while combining design, construction, and materials procurement into a single all-inclusive experience. Block simplifies a complex and convoluted process while ensuring homeowners never feel uncertainty when beginning a home renovation project.

We’re looking for a passionate, ambitious, adaptable, and motivated interior/architectural designer to work with our fast-paced team of designers, contractors, sales group, and growing client base. You will create bathroom designs using our library of products, materials, and finishes to ensure target goal completion dates. Our clients understand the value of working with a design expert during a 4 week design process. Responsibilities include:

  • Good communication and timely follow up with clients throughout the design phase
  • Curate bathroom designs and select products/finishes to fit the budget
  • Create presentations booklets that include renders and options for product selection
  • Conduct (digital or in-person) client meetings and guide them through recommendations and proposed options
  • Coordinate drawings and details for construction using the Block processes
  • Create procurement schedule


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in architecture or interior design; construction experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of specifications and procurement of fixtures and finishes
  • Fluency with Revit, Bluebeam, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative suite is a must
  • Fluency with 2020 kitchen design software is a bonus
  • Passionate about creating great consumer experiences; client-facing experience is a bonus
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and organized
  • You see problems as fuel
  • You’re curious and see speed as a virtue
