JOIN YOUSICIAN

Yousician’s mission is to make musicality as common as literacy. We’re looking for a Senior Art Director who is simultaneously big picture and hands on, who will work with the CMO and executive team to set the creative vision and visual aesthetic for Yousician’s brand. In addition to helping solidify our visual brand guidelines, you’ll have the chance to build and lead our brand design function with a combination of freelancers and full-time hires, as well as work directly on a diverse set of brand design projects for the marketing team. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Advance Yousician’s visual brand by solidifying and enforcing brand guidelines across departments

• Build out and manage Youisican’s brand design capabilities through hiring of full-time and/or freelance resources, providing creative direction and taking responsibility for finished projects

• Manage the quality and approve design (whether created by you or team member) for a range of creative work, both digital and non-digital

• Concept and design smart, visually arresting marketing creative

• Support end-to-end management of campaigns and programs to deliver brand consistent content

• Partner with Product team to support new feature launches and new content verticals

WHO YOU ARE

• 6+ years experience as an art director or brand designer at agencies or in-house

• Experience working with stakeholders to establish/ solidify brand books/ guidelines

• Clean design aesthetic

• Expert at Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator

• Experience working on and/or project managing video projects

• Awareness of latest trends in design and technology

• Strong writing skills

• Experience leading creative projects and teams

• Experience managing direct reports

• High attention to detail

• Eligible to work and live in United States

• Passion for music a strong plus

This position is based in NYC. Travel required.
