UX Researcher

You will work in a nimble, self-directed, and rapidly growing environment with multidisciplinary teams to concept and create revolutionary member experiences.
We believe our users define the experiences we create and we work diligently to understand their behaviors and attitudes. In this role, you will collaborate with product designers, engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to guide our product vision and strategy. You will conduct primary research and explore the behaviors and motivations of our users by applying creative and rigorous qualitative, quantitative, and design methodology to generate insights that fuel ideation and contribute to the evolution of our designs.
What we are looking for:
3+ years of experience in applied product research
Sharp eye for detail and strong organizational skills
Examples of projects demonstrating research methods, including but not limited to surveys, usability testing, ethnography, and logs analysis
Synthesizes feedback and disseminates findings clearly
Capable of balancing user and business needs
Strong presentation and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
What your day-to-day will look like:
Conceive, conduct, and manage user research and usability studies
Prioritize research initiatives and user studies
Activate research findings throughout the product and engineering organization through written reports and oral presentations
Facilitate evidence-based product and design decisions
Curate and maintain pool of users to test with
Identify gaps in the overall UX research strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements
This position reports to the Director of Product Design in our NYC headquarters.
