Junior Visual Designer

About the role:
Our Designer will support the evolution of our visual identity while executing for multichannel campaigns across internal and external audiences. We believe in a creative process that prioritizes input and feedback from stakeholders to improve design ideas. You will use that input to help translate the Foursquare brand story and technology concepts (such as data and location science) into compelling and consistent visuals.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Expand on visual identity system and brand elements by developing new assets such as logos, iconography, illustrations, infographics, and motion graphics
- Concepting and developing design for a range of digital and print components including websites, landing pages, videos, emails, one sheets, and trade show collateral
- Develop and design sales collateral, with an eye toward providing bespoke presentations within the context of the company's brand; Translate ideas and product strategy into a Foursquare narrative
- Work with content creators and copywriters to understand project briefs and objectives callout important themes and data.
- Apply fundamental brand elements consistently across all materials.
- Stay current on all existing, new, and emerging technologies that relate to digital marketing, mobile technologies and social media, as well as cultural trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field, and/or 2+ years of relevant design experience on a multi-disciplinary design team
- Previous experience for B2B technology brands; including an online portfolio of ideas and executions demonstrating multiple digital platforms or channels
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and similar design tools
Nice to have:
- Familiarity working with website assets, social media platforms, and CMS updates is a plus
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and other video editing platforms
