 The Candidate

You breathe life into new hardware platforms and aren’t afraid to play in kernel space. You have a passion for developing great products and want to be part of the IoT evolution. You can “write a script to do that”.

The Job

As an Embedded Linux Developer, you will:

• Be part of a small, collaborative and agile development team
• Work on board bring-up, build systems, user space scripting, and application dev on embedded Linux platforms
• Terminate bugs with extreme prejudice
• Work with the tech team and other cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered according to the requirements and with the highest quality
• Keep your ear to the ground, helping us define and analyze industry best practices and important developments in the IoT space
• Leverage customer feedback to continuously improve our products
• Produce documentation as needed to test and maintain products

Qualifications

• 2+ years of embedded development experience focused on Linux platforms
• Dedicated with outstanding attention to detail
• Expert with Linux, scripting, git, makefiles, and debugging tools
• Clear, efficient communication skills
• Comfortable interacting within all levels of the organization
• Passion for what we are building at Wink

Experience in any of the following areas:

• Board bring-up on multi-vendor Linux based designs
• Hardware development experience
• RF protocol development or testing (WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, Z-Wave, etc)
