As an Engineering Manager at Remix by Via, you will lead a team of engineers building one of our core products. As a leader on the team, you will be instrumental in ensuring we deliver a strong differentiated product that seamlessly fits with our other product offerings. 

What You'll Do:

• Lead a Software Engineering team for one of Remix’s products.
• Partner with product, design and engineering to shape and deliver the team’s roadmap.
• Coach, support and provide feedback for your direct reports to positively impact their career development and growth.
• Participate in technical decision making with other engineering leaders.
• Improve engineering-wide processes and practices in collaboration with other engineering managers.
  

Who You Are:

• You are an engineer with past leadership experience looking for your first opportunity to manage a team, or you are an experienced engineering manager looking to increase your impact.
• You have a strong background in software engineering, particularly in building web applications.
• You are experienced at collaborating cross-functionality to maintain and deliver great products.
• You want to retain a high performing team with an inclusive and supportive culture.
• You are motivated by technical challenges at the intersection of data, visualization and user experience.

What Catches Our Eye:

• You have experience leading full-stack teams working with technologies like React, Rails, Python, PostgreSQL and AWS
• You have experience with geospatial or mapping technologies
