Holler is an AI powered content engine that helps people discover the perfect sticker or GIF in messaging apps. Every day, millions of people use Holler to have richer conversations with content that improves their self-expression in chat. 

We are looking for a Front End Engineer to take ownership in designing and building the applications that power our products. The role will involve end-to-end development, from helping formulate requirements to full production implementation. You will be collaborating with a small team of seasoned engineers in a constantly evolving and fast-moving startup environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Architect simple yet flexible solutions and scale them as we grow
• Design, develop and release new features and capabilities
• Provide support for existing applications
• Participate in major projects from inception to development, shipping at a rapid pace
• Take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in web application development using component based architecture in one of the following languages: Vue, React, Angular JS
• Use semantic HTML5 to build better web pages
• Use CSS frameworks (SASS/SCSS or LESS) to organize and reuse style code
• Build responsive first
• Must have a high attention to detail and take ownership; Driven to make the product, the team, and yourself better
• Must be willing to work with our Product Team to groom user stories, thinking about application design and user experience 
• Desire to write high quality, testable code and documentation
• Ability to make decisions with incomplete information 

While the following are NOT required, it’s a nice bonus to have:

• UX/UI design experience
• Experience building APIs, NodeJS + Express, Python + Flask, etv.
• Familiarity with MySQL or Postgres
