Job Description
As Attune’s Head of Engineering, you will grow and scale our talented software engineering team. We lead from a place of empathy and empowerment, and we believe that upskilling and developing our teams is our biggest priority. In this role, you will:
- Own engineering strategy, including growth, budgeting, business alignment, and more
- Support Attune’s core engineering team in shipping fast while maintaining quality
- Grow a highly inclusive & diverse team. Attune prides itself in sourcing, attracting, and retaining people from diverse backgrounds, and this role will be integral in continuing to develop our inclusive culture.
- Coach managers to build high-functioning squads
- Provide technical guidance where/when necessary
- Build process to develop & up-level our engineers
- Work with our leadership team and other leaders at Attune to prioritize effectively
Qualifications:
- Managed & coached engineering managers/directors for 5+ years
- Worked on and led (as an IC and/or tech lead) software engineering teams for 8+ years, with exposure across a variety of technical concerns (product, backend, infra, devops, security, etc)
- Driven technical vision and strategy
- Strong & clear communication
- Strong cross-functional skills, enabling you to work closely with product, design, data science, and other business-facing functions (revenue, ops, etc)
- Significant recruiting experience, including building a strong engineering brand
