Position Overview:
The Integration Engineer, Programmatic will join DV’s Operation team and will use industry standards and latest technologies to enhance our programmatic and platform products. DoubleVerify runs mission-critical systems that process billions of real-time transactions a day, hence performance and scalability considerations would guide you throughout each project. You will experiment with new and cutting-edge technologies designed for large scale, distributed systems, Big Data and Ad Tech solutions.
Responsibilities
- Join a great team of motivated Operation engineers and collaborate in Monitoring and troubleshooting critical, large scale, distributed services for DoubleVerify's Programmatic and Platform products with strict SLAs
- Work closely with the Product team to understand product requirements and ensure that deliverables are timely and of high quality
- Operating and maintaining DoubleVerify's applications, servers and network
- Monitoring and administering Linux and Windows systems. Taking appropriate actions on system alerts based on standard operating procedure
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development and deployment
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues using SQL queries
- Maintenance of technical documentation (Internal Support team), processes and procedures used throughout normal operations
- Development of knowledge and skills in network and system administration, particularly with regards to DoubleVerify's own architecture and platforms
- Participation in 24/7/365 on-call rotation
Requirements
- 4+ years Experience with monitoring systems and management tools (ex: Nagios)
- Familiarity with orchestration and containerization solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) - Advantage
- Basic understanding of SQL
- Experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash - Advantage
- Experience with automation/configuration management including Ansible, Jenkins - Advantage
- 4+ years Windows/Linux administration skills (IIS and/or Apache configuration)
- 4+ years Experience working with Virtual machines (vmware)
- Familiarity with cloud computing (Google, Amazon)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent social skills
- Customer service oriented (inbound)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience with technical documentation
