Datalot is looking for a Lead Engineer who is excited to play a key role to shape and build the next level of our innovative customer engagement platform. As part of our DUMBO Brooklyn team, you will get to play around with new technology such as AI and building out a conversation interface. What we’re looking for
7+ years of professional development experience, including scaling web applications
Previous experience mentoring and guiding other engineers
Strong hands-on experience with Linux, Python, Javascript, and MySQL
A dedication to building with performance and efficiency in mind
Interest in applying AI/machine learning to real-world business problems
Bonus points: AWS services, infrastructure automation; experience working with comparative shopping engines
Personal Attributes: analytical thinker; strong organizational skills; great problem-solver; attention to detail; entrepreneurial mindset; ability to effectively multi-task; ability to take ownership for your work and calculated risks when needed
