WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop strategic design and requirements on small systems or modules of large scale systems that are being consumed internal to the enterprise
• Guide and mentor junior developers in developing code and workflow procedures, and conduct code reviews
• Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment and technical documentation
• Perform complex product design activities which may require extensive research and analysis
• Perform design, implementation and maintenance of multiple product modules and systems
• Assist with deploying software to upper environments
• Perform complex bug verification, release testing, and support for core products
• Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions
• Conduct unit testing and assist with integration testing

WHAT YOU HAVE

• A degree in an associated field and/or other advanced certification along with significant experience
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science and 5+ years of technical experience in software design, development and product support
• Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation with an emphasis on Scrum Agile
• Excellent analytical and design skills at multiple product level, excellent skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation
• Experience in executing all phases of the SDLC from requirements, design, development and testing to implementation and support
• 5+ years of experience with at least one of the following (preferably multiple) Python, Java, Scala, JavaScript, GoLang. (must be willing to code in Python, prior exp not needed, just willingness to learn and use)
• Strong experience in DevOps and CI/CD, must be able to independently spin up and configure AWS (Lamda/Serverless) pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
• Must be a self-starter capable of delivering with minimal outside direction
